Hi! I'm Eric Gunderson, and have been involved in karting and motorsports for 15+ years. Over the years, I've viewed the sport from the driver's seat, the official's perspective, and as a performance karting business owner. I am a multi-time national and regional karting champion, with years of experience working with drivers of all ages achieve success. I love to take a data-rich coaching approach, and help racers of all skillsets achieve their goals.

Common Questions

Can you coach me if I drive at tracks you may not know?

I can certainly coach you at tracks I do not know. However, I will say that there are certain elements that I may need your input on! If I have not been to a track, I may request your input for areas in particular you struggle with. Every corner is unique, and as a result so is every track. With that said, many of the key elements found at your local track are also vital to success and speed at the track on the opposite side of the country.
Can you help me improve racecraft and laptimes?

I love having discussions regarding racecraft and finding speed at tracks across the country. I have a proven track record of doing just that with a variety of clients.
Are you able to help me with preparing before and between races

Certainly happy to help you prepare before and after races. Preparation is the key to success in anything, and motorsports requires more preparation than almost any other sport!
What experience level drivers do you coach?

I am proud to coach drivers of all experience levels! I find that this not only keeps coaching fun and varied, but also extremely challenging. I've often learned some of my best analogies and coaching points both from national champions and from complete beginners.
Are you able to look at my data as well as my video?

Yes, absolutely! In fact, data is VERY helpful to me! I love data, so anything you want to share is definitely helpful.
