About Pauline
Pauline France fashioned her multicultural heritage and upbringing into a top-notch education in both music and communications. Musically, she studied classical guitar at the Centro Hispanoamericano de Guitarra in the Conservatory of Baja California, Mexico, and pursued a degree in music education at Southwestern College. In the communications arena, she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from San Diego State University.
Upon graduating, she combined both her passions of music and communications, and embarked on an exhilarating, decade-long career in the music industry, leading corporate public relations and internal communications for the world’s largest musical instrument manufacturer, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.
On the journalism front, she has penned cover stories for global media outlets, including Guitar World magazine, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, and countless others.
With more than 20 years of coaching experience teaching acoustic and fingerstyle guitar to hundreds of beginner and intermediate players in studios, private lessons, and universities, along with more than 10 years in the musical instruments industry, you'll not only learn guitar but also gain firsthand, professional insight into pursuing a career in music.
