Over hand throw - bouncing ball (take to ground)

Instructions

Over hand throw (windmill) ball against the wall, with pace, so it will bounce on the ground once before catching. Catch the ball before it rises back above your hip waste. This should be a basket catch (turning your hand down towards the ground). A ball with pace needs to be taken to the ground to secure the ball completely.Repeat.

Primary

Lean enough forward catching the ball to take to a front smother.

Secondary

Keep ball secure in chest at all times, throughout the duration of the save.

Playing professionally for the past 6 years has taken me to teams in the Netherlands, Cyprus, Chicago, and Kansas City. I also played college soccer at Florida State University and was fortunate to win a National Championship.
