Figure 8 - dive

Soccer
Instructions
Place two cones a foot apart for your gate. Place a soccer ball a bodys length away diagonally away from the gate in both directions. Start in the middle of the gate. Start footwork going in front of one cone doing a full figure 8 around both cones as shown. Once you complete one full figure 8 dive towards the soccer ball. Alternate the starting direction each rep so you alternate the direction you dive each rep.

Staying low and compact, not tall, working around the cones to prepare you for the dive.

Hello! My name is Cassie Miller and I play professionally for the Kansas City Current in the NWSL. Playing professionally for the past 6 years has taken me to teams in the Netherlands, Cyprus, Chicago, and Kansas City. I also played college soccer at Florida State University and was fortunate to win a National Championship. I have always coached throughout my career and love to mentor kids and help them reach their soccer goals! My areas of expertise are goalkeeping and I am excited to work with you!
