Footwork forward to dive

Instructions

Line up six cones in a straight line. From the end cone place a ball both a bodys length out diagonally from the last cone. Start at the first cone doing footwork through. Once you get through the cones quickly performing the footwork, low ball dive to both balls. Leave both balls on the ground where they originally were. Complete 3 sets through as one round of footwork. Then move onto the next footwork series. Footwork includes 1) two feet in each space 2) one foot in each space 3) shuffle (ichy shuffle) through the cones. Repeat until time is up

Quick and controlled footwork keeping your eyes up, not down looking at your feet moving

Secondary

If starting to fatigue keep concentration on the proper dive techniques. Creat good habits.

Hello! My name is Cassie Miller and I play professionally for the Kansas City Current in the NWSL. Playing professionally for the past 6 years has taken me to teams in the Netherlands, Cyprus, Chicago, and Kansas City. I also played college soccer at Florida State University and was fortunate to win a National Championship. I have always coached throughout my career and love to mentor kids and help them reach their soccer goals! My areas of expertise are goalkeeping and I am excited to work with you!
