Knee dive

Instructions

Place a ball half a bodys length away from you and get both knees on the ground. From your knees up shape in a proper set position with your toes dug into the ground behind you. Shoot your hands to the ball for a dive. Repeat. Switch sides half way through the set.

Focus areas

Primary

Landing on side of body, back side of your shoulder. Not on your stomach or back.

Secondary

Getting weight on the knee near side to the ball. Weight needs to shift to that knee to attack to the ball.

Hello! My name is Cassie Miller and I play professionally for the Kansas City Current in the NWSL. Playing professionally for the past 6 years has taken me to teams in the Netherlands, Cyprus, Chicago, and Kansas City. I also played college soccer at Florida State University and was fortunate to win a National Championship. I have always coached throughout my career and love to mentor kids and help them reach their soccer goals! My areas of expertise are goalkeeping and I am excited to work with you!
